Get ready for an exciting season of sports and activities as the "Hutorok" children's cup competitions return to the picturesque Rosa Khutor resort in Sochi, Russia. Scheduled from July 5 to August 23, these competitions promise to be a fantastic event for children aged 3 to 14, offering a chance to demonstrate agility, speed, and balance.

The competitions will take place on a special track set up on Rosa Square in Rosa Dolina, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in two disciplines of their choice. Last year, around 5,808 children took part in these competitions, marking a significant increase from the 2,000 participants in the previous summer season.

The "Hutorok" cup competitions have been a traditional event at the resort since 2016, starting with winter competitions in alpine skiing and snowboarding. In 2022, the summer version of the competitions was introduced, offering a new dimension to the popular event.

In addition to the competitions, masterclasses from the entertainment centre "Vremya Detstva" will be available, providing an extra dose of fun and learning for the young athletes. Participation in the "Hutorok" cup competitions is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for all.

Every Saturday, open starts will be held for running, scooter, and balance bike events at the resort. Registration for the event is required in a special tent near the stage on Rosa Square from 10:00 to 14:45 on the day of the competition.

The main goal of the "Hutorok" cup competitions is to attract the younger generation to sports and promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Special prizes from partners will be awarded to young athletes who participate in three or more starts, adding an extra incentive for those who wish to participate regularly.

A diploma will be awarded to each participant at the end of the competition, serving as a memento of their achievement. To stay updated on the schedule and any changes, visitors are advised to check the official website of Rosa Khutor resort, follow their social media accounts, look for local event calendars in Sochi or nearby areas, or reach out to the resort directly via phone or email.

So, mark your calendars and get ready for an action-packed summer at the Rosa Khutor resort with the "Hutorok" children's cup competitions!

At the "Hutorok" children's cup competitions, participants can choose from various disciplines such as science, health-and-wellness, fitness-and-exercise, and sports, reaffirming the event's commitment to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. The competitions will also feature masterclasses from the entertainment centre "Vremya Detstva", providing opportunities for children to learn and showcase skills across multiple domains.
