These exercises are intended to boost range of motion, reduce muscle tension, improve posture, boost circulation, and banish discomfort.

Get Ready to Unleash Your Inner Fire Hydrant:

  • Start on your hands and knees, with your body aligned over your limbs.
  • Extend your knee out to the side while keeping a 90° bend, reaching knee level with your hip. Lower with control and repeat ten times on each side.

Pigeon Pose - Get Comfy, But Not too Comfy:

  • Begin on your hands and knees, then extend your left leg behind you, bend your right knee, and bring it toward your right hand. Touch your right foot to your left hand, and fold forward at your hips. This should stretch your right buttock. Hold for 30 seconds, then switch sides.

Butterfly Stretch - Like the Wing, But for Your Hips:

  • Sit on the floor with the soles of your feet together and your knees out to the sides. Use your elbows to gently push your knees down for a deeper stretch, hold for 30 seconds, keeping your torso upright and back straight.
