In a tragic turn of events, a train crash in Riedlingen on July 27, 2025, has left over 50 people injured, with at least three confirmed deaths. The incident has resulted in a significant number of critically injured individuals, who are currently being treated in hospitals in Tübingen, Ehingen, and Ulm.

The Alb-Donau Clinic in Ehingen is treating two critically injured persons, one of whom has already undergone surgery. The University Hospital Tübingen is also caring for ten moderately and seriously injured individuals, but the specific details about their health and treatment status are not disclosed. The Military Hospital in Ulm has taken in 14 patients, with 13 classified as lightly injured and one as moderately injured, but the hospital has not released any information regarding their condition.

The Sana Clinic in Biberach has admitted seven injured people, including several seriously injured, but the nature of their injuries or their current condition remains undisclosed. The Military Hospital in Ulm is currently on high alert due to the influx of patients from the train crash.

Rescue operations are ongoing at the crash site, but no further medical updates on the patients’ status have been released yet. The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
