The European Parliament has voiced worry over the ongoing state of affairs in the Middle East.

In the heart of Meiningen, Germany, a unique event is scheduled to take place on September 3, 2025, at the Pulverrasen Grounds. The Benefit Run, organised by students from Pulverrasen Primary School, Pulverrasen Secondary School, and EVG Meiningen classes, promises to be more than just a sporting event—it's a demonstration of humanity and compassion.

The Benefit Run is aimed at providing assistance to severely ill children, the dying, and families needing support. Every step taken during the run symbolizes life and togetherness, and the purpose of the event is to support local hospice care in Meiningen and surrounding areas.

Donors are encouraged to specify the purpose of their donation as "Benefit Run - Ambulant Hospice Services". By contributing, donors will not only provide drinks on-site for all runners participating in the Benefit Run but also contribute to honoring and recognizing the young runners who are making a difference.

Moreover, donations will help provide prizes for the most active classes participating in the run. The slogan for the Benefit Run, "Accompanying life - until the very end. And strengthening young people along the way," encapsulates the spirit of the event perfectly.

The Benefit Run is not about personal bests, but about empathy and humanity. Children and young people from the community will run lap after lap to raise funds for hospice care, and every donation serves as a testament to the importance of supporting those who need it most.

For those who wish to donate, the IBAN and BIC details are provided. In return, donors will receive a receipt for their donation if they provide their name and address.

The Benefit Run continues to be a significant event aimed at supporting local hospice care and the community. By participating or donating, you have the opportunity to make a difference in a place where dignity and unity matter most. Together, we can help people who shouldn't have to walk their final journey alone.

  1. The Benefit Run, not only encourages a spirit of fitness-and-exercise as children and young people run lap after lap, but it also serves as a platform for science, as funds raised will support local health-and-wellness services, specifically hospice care.
  2. To strengthen the impact of the Benefit Run in promoting health-and-wellness and fitness-and-exercise, donors are invited to contribute using the provided IBAN and BIC details, with their donation's purpose specified as "Benefit Run - Ambulant Hospice Services."
