Techpark "Skolkovo" and the RuCode Festival: A Platform for Young Talent

The Techpark "Skolkovo" competition, a key event of the RuCode Festival, is opening its doors to students and schoolchildren from across Russia and beyond. This year, the competition boasts an impressive prize fund of over 3,000,000 rubles for the RuCode Award, and 15.6 million for the international AI Challenge.

The Techpark "Skolkovo" competition offers nine distinct categories, catering to participants of all ages and digital skill levels. Children and youth from all 89 regions of Russia are welcome to join, with students up to 25 years old eligible to participate.

Registration for the competition is now open on the official website, followed by a qualifying stage. Participants can choose a track based on their age and digital skill level, with options ranging from the individual "Beginners" track for students up to 8th grade, to the student track of the AI Challenge for college students under 19 years old.

Last year, the competition saw impressive results. Rostov's Ivan Dorbash won 1st place in the "Beginners" track, while Polina Yurchik from Krasnodar became the first among "Creative" participants. The AI Challenge also attracted participants from Russia and 65 other countries.

The Techpark "Skolkovo" competition presents real technological business tasks adapted to each track's level, providing a unique opportunity for participants to apply their skills in a practical setting. The online format of the competition ensures that anyone, from any point in the world, can participate.

In addition to the main competition, the RuCode Award serves as the culminating event of the RuCode festival. 92 winners and runners-up will be selected in Techpark "Skolkovo", with the winners of the final stage of the AI Challenge invited to a formal award ceremony in Moscow. The student track of the AI Challenge includes complex cases and tasks at the intersection of bioinformatics, computer vision, dialog systems, and multimodal models, offering a challenging and rewarding experience for participants.
