The city of Gummersbach has announced the reopening of the sports park and playground at the Steinmüller site, starting from June 1st. This exciting news comes with a few important guidelines to ensure everyone's safety.

Registration for these activities is possible twice a week, from Tuesday to Friday, between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM. You can register by calling the municipal children and youth work hotline at 0151-21913783.

Upon reopening, the facilities will accommodate two closed groups of 25 children, youth, or adults each, on a weekly basis. These groups will engage in non-contact sports activities, adhering to the current safety measures.

The opening hours will be supervised by the staff of the Open Children and Youth Work of the city of Gummersbach. It's important to note that the capacity for weekend activities and the age limit for weekend activities have not been specified at this time.

To maintain safety, a permanent minimum distance of 5 meters must be observed between different users of the sports facility. In case this distance cannot be maintained, a medical mask must be worn. The sanitary facilities will remain closed during these activities.

The rules regarding minimum distance and mask usage will remain in place during these activities. The non-contact sports rule also remains in effect.

The allowed times for these activities on weekdays are extended to include the time slot between 6:00 PM and 8:15 PM. On Saturdays, the activities will be held between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM, and 5:45 PM and 7:30 PM. Registrations for the afternoon group are accepted for children up to the age of 14 years.

Please note that the reopening is initially time-limited. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking the city's official website or contacting the municipal children and youth work directly.

We hope this news brings joy to the community and encourages everyone to participate in safe and enjoyable sports activities at the Steinmüller site. Stay safe and enjoy the games!
