Russian Woman Gives Birth in Ambulance, Fifth Such Case This Year
In an unusual turn of events, a 31-year-old woman from the Zonalny district in Barnaul, Altai region, Russia, gave birth while being transported to the hospital by emergency medics. This was not an isolated incident, as the Biyisk emergency medical station has seen five such cases this year.
The baby girl was delivered safely by paramedics Mikhail Egorov and Yana Chintchikova, with the assistance of driver Alexander Ryabov. This was a first-time experience for Mikhail Egorov, who was thrilled to have helped bring a new life into the world. The baby was born healthy and crying loudly, much to the relief of the emergency team. After ensuring the safety of both mother and baby, the team promptly delivered them to the maternity ward for further care.
The Biyisk emergency medical station has seen an increase in babies being born en route to the hospital this year, with five such cases recorded. The dedicated team of paramedics and drivers continue to provide exceptional care, even in unexpected situations like these.
