The South-East Hesse Police Headquarters has announced that it will be setting up speed control points across several locations in the region starting from September 16, 2024.

On September 16, speed control points will be established in Hanau at Pfaffenbrunnenstr. towards Hermann - Ehlers Straße (a kindergarten) and K 903, Niedermittlau towards Rothenbergen (a speed danger point). Additionally, in Neu-Isenburg, speed control points will be set up at L 3117 towards Heusenstamm (an accident hotspot) and Hanau at Kastanienallee towards Frankfurter Str. (a school).

The following day, on September 17, 2024, speed control points will be set up in Rodgau-Nieder Roden at Frankfurter Straße towards Lichtenbergstraße (a nursing home) and Hanau at L 3268, Maintaler Str. towards Dörnigheim (a speed danger point). Offenbach am Main will also see speed control points on Buchhügelallee towards Spessartring, near the school.

Speed control points will also be set up on B 43 a near Hanau Harbour towards Fulda and on B 43 a near Hanau Harbour towards Fulda again on September 21-22, 2024 (both locations are accident hotspots).
