Office Romances: Intimate Relationships in the Workplace

In a recent survey conducted by women's magazine LISA, some interesting findings about office dynamics and romance were uncovered.

The survey revealed that 9% of men have admitted to having had a sexual encounter with a female superior, while 15% of respondents have already been in a romantic relationship at work. However, the identity of the woman involved in the 9% of cases remains unknown.

Interestingly, men do not typically cite "praise and recognition" as a motive for approaching their boss, unlike women who often do. Instead, men admit that "her strength turned them on" as a reason for an affair with a superior.

On the other hand, women prefer to make advances in the canteen for 55% of the time, while men prefer to make advances 46% of the time in the canteen. A significant number of women, 15%, have no problem with a little flirtation at work, with men following closely behind at 24%.

The survey also found that 35% of women like to flirt from desk to desk, and 45% of men think about flirting directly at work.

Most respondents (78%) do not consider love at work as an option, and more than two-thirds (65%) of office affairs take place between colleagues.

The survey provides a fascinating insight into the dynamics of office relationships and the motivations behind them. While office romance can lead to love for some, it remains a complex and nuanced issue for many.

It's important to note that this article presents the facts as they were reported in the survey and does not aim to pass judgment or offer opinions on the matter. The survey results offer a snapshot of office romance and provide food for thought for those navigating the complexities of workplace relationships.
