In the latest display of compassion, several Russian communities have come together to help young children in need of medical treatment.

Sasha Beldeyev, a 17-year-old boy living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, requires further treatment costing 251,447 rubles. His grandmother has appealed for help, as they live on social benefits and cannot afford the treatment.

Meanwhile, Katya Kuznetsova, a 6-year-old girl from the Ulyanovsk region, is in the post-cochlear implant state and needs auditory-verbal rehabilitation costing 203,940 rubles. Polina Rubinstein, an audiologist-otolaryngologist at the "Tosha and Co" Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Center, recommends Katya continue intensive auditory-verbal rehabilitation. GTRK "Volga" viewers have pledged to contribute 31,000 rubles towards Katya's rehabilitation, and the sessions will help her adapt socially and prepare for school.

Katya's mother, Elena Kuznetsova, is not alone in her struggle. Tatyana Laychuk, Gleb's mother, mentions that they cannot afford the treatment for her 14-year-old son, Gleb Laychuk, who has a congenital cleft lip, palate, and alveolar ridge, and requires orthodontic treatment costing 222,550 rubles. Orthodontist Natalia Starikova recommends Gleb continue orthodontic treatment using fixed appliances to prepare for bone grafting of the upper jaw.

Ilya Kokurkin, a 4-year-old boy, also requires medical attention. He has osteogenesis imperfecta and needs a course of treatment costing 133,522 rubles. So far, no public record shows any organization or personality having made a donation for Ilya's treatment. However, during the "Children instead of flowers" charity event, 331,116 rubles were raised for Ilya's treatment, and GUB "Mosgorgeotrest" and GTRK "Kuzbass" viewers have contributed additional funds. Sofia Kokurkina, Ilya's mother, mentions that they cannot afford the treatment, and her husband is the only one working while she cares for their son.

Neurologist Elena Malakhova recommends Sasha Beldeyev continue treatment to improve muscle tone, coordination, fine motor skills, speech, and self-care skills. No responses have been received from the Russian Ministry of Health regarding the letters sent by the families.

In a week, a total of 69 letters were received, and 55 of them were taken into work. The community's support is a beacon of hope for these families, and their continued efforts are vital in ensuring these children receive the medical care they need.
