Metten Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG has issued a recall for its 'Thick Sauerlander Bockwurst' due to a production error. Consumers are advised not to consume the affected product, which was sold at Lidl and Netto stores. The recall comes after it was discovered that the sausage product has a shorter shelf life than stated. This is likely due to a change in the recipe or production process. The affected product has a best before date of 22.07.2023 and the batch number 322323. Consumers who have purchased the affected product should not consume it and return it to the point of purchase for a refund. Metten Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG apologises for any inconvenience caused.
