Major medical centers scheduled for completion in Yakutia by year's end

In 2021, several districts across the nation saw the construction of numerous major medical facilities. These projects were primarily funded through the national project "Healthy Lifestyle." At a recent meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Sadovnikov announced these developments.

The following medical facilities are underway:

  • A polyclinic is being built in Amga.
  • Medical buildings are being erected in Viluisk, Nýrba, Namtsy, and Andreevsky.
  • Construction of a hospital complex is currently underway.
  • In Sangar, a complex with a polyclinic is being built.
  • An outpatient clinic is being constructed in Lower Bestyakh.

As of now, the readiness of these projects stands at 14% in May and Sangar, and 17% in Nýrba. Furthermore, modular feldsher-midwife stations are being constructed in seven remote villages, including Nizhneangarsk, Siktayakh, Osokhtokh, Kulun-Olubu, Uyandina, Dzhargalakh, and Svyatoye.

In addition, the Central District Hospital in Neryungri is undergoing reconstruction. The plan is to build and commission 15 new medical facilities over the next three years, with funding coming from the national projects "Healthy Lifestyle," "Family," and "Healthcare Technologies."

Since 2018, 106 medical facilities have been commissioned, including crucial institutions such as oncological dispensaries, cardiology, and perinatal centers.

In the U.S., notable developments during this period include the construction of the Detroit Medical Center Cardiovascular Institute and Outpatient Services Building. This six-story facility supports cardiovascular and surgical services, with provisions for future clinical office development. Many healthcare construction projects during 2021 likely focused on modernization, advanced technology integration, and sustainability. However, due to the lack of specific regional data, it's challenging to provide detailed updates on facilities opened or under construction in 2021. As always, the healthcare sector continues to prioritize specialized care centers, outpatient facilities, and expanded service offerings.

The upcoming medical facilities in various districts of Russia, such as the polyclinic in Amga, the hospital complex, the complex with a polyclinic in Sangar, and the outpatient clinic in Lower Bestyakh, are being constructed as part of the national project "Healthy Lifestyle." Additionally, there are plans to build and commission 15 new medical facilities over the next three years, with funding from "Healthy Lifestyle," "Family," and "Healthcare Technologies" projects, ensuring the advancement of science and medical-conditions related health-and-wellness in these regions.

Medical facilities in Amga, Viluisk, Nürbe, Namtsy, and Andreyevsky, along with three other locations, will commence operation this year. These facilities are being financed through the national project 'Longevity and Active Life'. This information was shared at a capital construction meeting today by Dmitry Sadovnikov, the first deputy prime minister. Construction is currently in progress in May.
