Life-Saving Ink Unveiled in Bergisch Gladbach: The Introduction of "TwinWin" Tattoos
This Saturday, a nationwide movement called "TwinWin - The Stem Cell Donation Tattoo" will make a significant impact in Bergisch Gladbach. The movement, inspired by a father named Jimmy-Dean Laubinger, a tattoo artist from Osnabrueck, aims to encourage people to register as stem cell donors through a tattoo campaign.
The TwinWin tattoo is more than just a design. It symbolises time, life, and second chances. The double helix of DNA, combined with the symbol of the genetic twin, resembles an hourglass, reminding us of the preciousness of life and the potential for new beginnings.
Two local tattoo studios, Seelentattoos at Praxisklinik am Rosengarten and Skineffect Tattoo, are participating in the movement. Seelentattoos, located at Koelner Str. 57a, and Skineffect Tattoo at alten Pastorat 215, are offering the "TwinWin tattoo ideas" for free on this special day, which also marks World Children's Day and the Day of Thanks for Stem Cell Donors.
The Praxisklinik am Rosengarten is hosting a full-day event from 9 AM to 6 PM for the TwinWin movement. Interested parties can get tattooed and register directly with the DKMS at the Praxisklinik am Rosengarten by providing a cheek swab. For those who prefer, registration can also be done independently at many other locations.
Donations will be collected for three different organisations: DKMS, MPS Deutschland, and Stammzell Helden e.V., with the collected donations being passed on equally to all three. By participating in the TwinWin event, whether through tattoo, registration, or donation, individuals are contributing to continuing Hailey's story of hope and unity.
Hailey, whose only hope was a stem cell donation, found a matching donor, which gave Laubinger the desire to give back. The TwinWin movement is his way of doing just that, and it's a testament to the power of community and the impact that one person can have.
For more information about Seelentattoos, you can call them at 02202-240524 or visit their "Infos" section. Skineffect Tattoo can be reached at 02202-2729030, and they also have an Instagram account.
Each TwinWin tattoo is a visible commitment to the cause, a symbol of hope, gratitude, and the fact that individuals can make a difference together. So, this Saturday, join the TwinWin movement in Bergisch Gladbach and become a part of Hailey's story of hope and unity.
