St. Augustinus Group and Neuss helps Organize Large-scale Medical Aid for Ukraine

In a significant humanitarian effort, the non-profit organization St. Augustinus Group, based in Germany, has joined forces with the city of Neuss to send a substantial medical aid package to a city hospital in Ukraine. This hospital, the only facility in the region providing inpatient care for women and children in labor or post-partum, has been treating both civilians and soldiers around the clock in departments of internal medicine, surgery, and neurology.

The aid, coordinated by Max Lennertz from "Neuss helps" and Serhij Ostrenko from the Executive Committee of the City Council of Pawlohrad, includes over 30 pallets of medical supplies and equipment. This shipment, the largest since the start of the war, contains a C-arm X-ray system, modern ultrasound and blood transfusion devices, infusion pumps, incubators and warmers for newborns, extensive surgical materials, emergency kits, and more.

Andreas Degelmann, CEO of the St. Augustinus Group, expressed his commitment to standing by the side of the people of Ukraine amidst the ongoing war. He also expressed gratitude for the existence of associations like "Neuss helps" and was happy to support them in their efforts.

Serhij Ostrenko, Secretary of the City Council of Pawlohrad, expressed deep respect and sincere gratitude towards the St. Augustinus Group and 'Neuss helps'. He emphasized that victory will belong to Ukraine and the whole civilized and democratic world.
