Landshut's 12th 'Aging in Landshut' Day: Info & Support for Seniors
The Senior Citizens' Council of Landshut is hosting its twelfth 'Aging in Landshut' action and information day on October 8, 2023. The event, organized by the Seniorenbeirat, aims to inform senior citizens and their relatives about services for independent and worry-free aging. It will take place from 9 am to 4 pm at the Messepark Landshut, Niedermayerstraße 100, with Mayor Alexander Putz in attendance.
The 12th Aktionstag für Senioren will feature around 50 exhibitors presenting offers related to aging, health, care, and advice. Key participants include the Klinikum Landshut with its Palliative Team and Akutgeriatrie, offering complex geriatric therapies, consultations, and tests. The Verein Lebensmut, a support association for cancer patients, will also be present. Visitors can expect a series of medical, legal, and other age-related lectures to provide practical help and information on aging opportunities.
