But, the future looks dismal. With funds running dry and no additional funding coming in sight, Arche Nova faces the unavoidable possibility of halting operations in Sudan.
"We've reached a tipping point. The donations we're receiving are disappointingly low, and the federal funding has been depleted. If we don't discover a short-term solution, our work will eventually grind to a halt," warns Betty Brauer, head of the International Programs department.
Spokesperson Alexandra Kretschmann stated that €100,000 is needed to keep their work in Sudan afloat for the upcoming three months.
