Hospital Nurse Accused of Sexually Assaulting Infants, Confirms Charges by Public Prosecutor
A 26-year-old nurse, working in the neonatal resuscitation department of Montreuil Hospital near Paris, has been charged with sexually assaulting infants and filming the assaults to create child pornography. The offenses reportedly occurred between December 2024 and January 2025.
The nurse's partner, a 28-year-old man, has also been charged with inciting sexual assault and complicity, as he allegedly requested the videos and shared them on social media platforms. Both suspects were released under judicial supervision with restrictions, including separation orders and a ban from working with minors.
The investigation began after videos of abuse emerged on social media, prompting police intervention. The nurse surrendered to authorities and claimed she was controlled by her partner, who is believed to have orchestrated the crimes.
The hospital has suspended the nurse immediately and issued a statement condemning her actions as personal deviations that do not represent the institution or its staff. The hospital clarified that the nurse worked exclusively in neonatal intensive care and not in maternity care.
Judicial measures forbid the suspects from communicating with each other, leaving the Seine-Saint-Denis area, or engaging in any professional activity involving minors. The case remains under active police investigation as authorities seek to protect vulnerable infants and hold the perpetrators accountable.
Contrary to claims made in one of the TikTok posts, the hospital is not involved in the mistreatment of black children. The nurse in question has been suspended by the hospital, and the management has expressed its concern over the rumours that led worried mothers to call the establishment.
The hospital group has condemned the actions of the nurse if confirmed by the ongoing police investigation. The nurse herself presented herself at the Clichy-sous-Bois police station on Wednesday to report acts she claimed to have committed.
