German Photographer Maximilian Mann Wins Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2025

German photographer Maximilian Mann has triumphed in the international Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2025, winning the 4th German Peace Prize for Photography in Osnabrück. His victorious work, 'Last Rescue Oberhausen', showcases the Peace Village Oberhausen, providing medical care and hope to children.

Mann, a master's graduate in photography specializing in documentary and portrait work, has previously been recognized with the World Press Photo Award 2020. His winning series will be exhibited in the Museum Quarter Osnabrück until February 22, 2026, alongside other nominees' works.

The Felix Schoeller Photo Award, launched in 2019, honours the city's unique history and the company's connection to photography. This year, the award was presented in two categories, each with a 5,000 euro prize. In the 'Young Talent' category, Verdiana Albano won for her series 'i ain't from no east coast'. Axel Javier Sulzbacher took home the 'Sustainability' category prize for 'Green Dystopia'.
