20th Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Conference and World Conference on Eustachian Tube Research and Interventions

The 20th Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (MEOTO) Conference, in conjunction with the World Conference on Eustachian Tube Research and Interventions, took place at the InterContinental Festival City Hotel in Dubai on April 11–13, 2025.

This annual gathering, focusing on advancing knowledge and collaboration in otolaryngology and head & neck surgery across the Middle East, attracted over 1,000 regional and international experts from 33 countries. Dr. Moaz Tarabichi, Co-Chair and Chairman of the Organising Committee, described the event as a key platform for showcasing advancements, discussing clinical challenges, and driving innovation in ENT practices.

The conference aimed to address disparities in managing Eustachian Tube Disorders (ETD). The scientific programme included topics such as endoscopic nasal surgery, cochlear implants, facial plastic surgery, audiovestibular medicine, and more. Over 100 global speakers presented at the conference, with keynote lectures, guided courses, and interactive sessions forming part of the programme.

The conference also featured five industry seminars and the "Heinz Stammberger" global research competition, where 30 resident doctors participated. The "Balance Man" workshop was a highlight of the event, emphasizing scientific collaboration and advances in the Middle East region.

The exhibition running alongside the conference aimed to support knowledge exchange and innovation in the field, with more than 25 leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies participating. The event encompassed complex cases and a unique blend of clinical and surgical disciplines across all age groups.

The 20th MEOTO conference was organized by InfoPlus and presided over by Dr. Latifa Al Makoushi, Conference President and Assistant Professor at King Abdulaziz University Hospital. The event encouraged collaborative research and streamlined treatment protocols worldwide. It also coincided with the World Conference on Eustachian Tube Research and Interventions, providing a comprehensive platform for professionals in the field.
