Lecture 1, titled "Climate Change and Health: What is Mold and What are its Health Impacts?", will be delivered by Dr. Silvia Schäffer-Gemein from the GeoHealth Centre, University Clinic Bonn. This lecture will provide a comprehensive overview of mold, its growth and spread in changing climate conditions, and the direct health impacts of mold exposure on populations, including respiratory issues, allergies, asthma, and other mold-related illnesses.

Following the first lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion with the speaker.

Lecture 2, titled "Climate Change and Living: Preventing and Removing Mold", will be delivered by Rudolf Klapper, an energy expert from the Consumer Center NRW. This lecture will focus on practical strategies for preventing and removing mold, particularly in vulnerable settings like homes, schools, and healthcare facilities.

The KLISOPAR project, an initiative focused on addressing the impacts of climate change on health, is funded by the BMUV (Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection). The project's objectives include understanding the influence of climate change on mold growth, identifying health risks, developing prevention strategies, raising public awareness, and supporting adaptation policies.
