The EPA offers free Water Technical Assistance services, which guide communities in evaluating drinking water challenges, including emerging contaminants like PFAS, and help them develop plans and applications for funding to address these issues. To request this support, communities should submit a request through the EPA’s WaterTA portal or contact WaterTA via email at [email protected] for guidance on the request process and available services. The EPA then works with the community to evaluate needs, build capacity, and develop grant applications to secure funding for water infrastructure improvements related to emerging contaminants.*
