Editorial Correspondence: Avoid Being Engrossed in the Trump-Musk Rift Spectacle
Hey Editor! Why the heck do you gotta slap a petty feud between Trump and Musk on the front page? ("Have a nice day, DJT!": Trump's breakup with Musk devolves into a war of insults, June 5) Seriously? Keeping tabs on an immature spat between two self-absorbed individuals, who couldn't care less about the American people, feels like a total waste of time and space. While the world watches, these two are busy trading barbs. Meanwhile, there's destruction all around: deporting innocent men, women, and children, dismantling USAID, resulting in widespread starvation, and using the excuse of cleaning up fraud and abuse to fire thousands of federal employees, achieving little in the end. Let's face it — this is just a diversionary tactic by Trump and Musk to distract us from the "One Big Beautiful Bill" and potentially millions of Americans losing their medical insurance.

Dear Editor! Sure, the feud between Musk and Trump’s schoolyard shenanigans are tantalizing, but let's not lose sight of the forest for the trees. This lackluster display of adult behavior is foolhardy and reckless, particularly from the Republican Party, who agreed to dance with this clown, turning the White House into a global punchline. The consequences? A stock market crash, pricey tariffs, and questionable deportations. You know, the usual suspects.
To be fair, every Republican who played a role in this circus should face the consequence they know all too well: "You're fired!"
