Bottrop, Germany, is playing host to the Week of Dementia from September 15 to September 21. This week-long event offers opportunities for direct conversation, gathering information, and finding inspiration for daily life, particularly for those affected by dementia, caregivers, and interested parties.

The Week of Dementia features a diverse program, including information events, movement and dance afternoons, game afternoons, and a tour of the Quadrat Museum. One of the highlights of the event is the "Market of Possibilities," which takes place on Saturday, September 20, from 11 am to 4 pm at Bürgerhaus Batenbrock.

At the "Market of Possibilities," a large network of committed providers and actors will present themselves, providing a unique opportunity to explore resources and connect with others. The day will also include a sing-along concert and performances by the Zwar Singers and the BOTTpourri choir.

Participants are encouraged to engage with the topic of dementia and become active together. The entire program for the Week of Dementia can be found on the city's homepage at www.bottrop.de.

The Week of Dementia and the "Market of Possibilities" event are part of a broader effort to raise awareness and offer support to those affected by dementia. The event will run until September 21, offering a chance for the community to come together and make a difference.
