Collision Resulting in Personal Injury Involving a Tree Impact
On September 4th, at 12:15 PM, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the L110 road near Dahlem, Munich. According to the Münchner Verkehrspolizei (Munich Traffic Police), the incident involved a car driven by a 70-year-old man from Rhineland-Palatinate.
The car veered off the road in a right-hand curve, colliding with a tree after losing control. Both the 70-year-old driver and a 65-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries. The 70-year-old man's injuries were life-threatening.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene. The 70-year-old man and the 65-year-old woman were both extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. The woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance, while the man was airlifted by helicopter.
Further investigations into the accident are being handled by Kommissariat 53 of the Münchner Verkehrspolizei, with additional assistance from the Euskirchen's traffic accident investigation team.
The accident site remains closed at this time as investigations continue. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
