Study of Practice of Medicine

The study of Practice of Medicine spans over two years, from the Third B.H.M.S. to the Fourth B.H.M.S., with the examination being conducted at the conclusion of the Fourth B.H.M.S. (No exam is held for this subject in the Third B.H.M.S.).

Third B.H.M.S. Topics

  • Immunological factors, including susceptibility (with a focus on HIV, Hepatitis)

  • Diseases of the haemopoietic system

The syllabus covers applied anatomy, physiology, and the clinical examination of the above-mentioned topics.

Theory Examination

The examination consists of two papers, each worth 100 marks.

  • Paper 1: Topics of the Third B.H.M.S. (50 marks) and Homoeopathic Therapeutics related to these topics (50 marks)
  • Paper 2: Topics of the Fourth B.H.M.S. (50 marks) and Homoeopathic Therapeutics related to these topics (50 marks)

The division of papers is structured based on the syllabus of the B.H.M.S. (Degree course) applicable from the academic session 2015-2016, as per guidelines of the Central Council of Homoeopathy.
