Appointed: Fresh Leadership in Parkinson's NSW Board
In a recent shakeup at Parkinson's NSW, three new Board Members have been appointed following a stringent selection process. The existing Board, which includes two members living with the condition and a carer, has expanded to accommodate these fresh faces.

- Janina Jancu Janina, who once practiced law and traversed a 12-year corporate journey, culminating at the rank of General Manager, is no stranger to leadership. She's also graced the roles of Chief of Staff to the Lord Mayor of Sydney and Manager of Scholarships at UNSW. Recently, she’s dived headfirst into the non-profit sector, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary for the Victor Chang Institute and Director of Operations and Company Secretary for ReachOut Australia.
- Nicole Schleicher With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Nicole is a seasoned vet in the non-profit sector. Her impressive resume spans managing service delivery and quality, as well as strategic projects, research, and evaluation. Nicole has held key roles with various organizations including The Smith Family, Baptist Community Services NSW, Wesley Mission, and The Benevolent Society. Today, she presides as General Manager of National Services for RedKite.
- Margaret Scott Margaret boasts over 30 years in senior fundraising roles for health and disability charities. Since starting her own consultancy business in 2013, she’s been a force to reckon with in the sector. Margaret served on the Board of the Fundraising Institute of Australia from 1998 to 2008, holding key roles like Chair, Vice Chair, and chairing multiple committees. She was also a member of Bloom Asia's board from 2017 to 2019.
