Anritsu's IoT testing is chosen by Wellell for medical device applications

In a groundbreaking move, electronics company Anritsu and medical technology giant Wellell have announced a partnership aimed at achieving sustainability goals through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.

Wellell, a global leader in the healthcare sector, has adopted Anritsu's IoT wireless transmission testing technologies to ensure the stability and universality of their devices.

By leveraging Anritsu's wireless communication testing technologies, Wellell is performing IoT functional tests on its high-quality medical devices. This includes the iX Series Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices and the Optima/Procare Series Pressure Relief Mattresses. These products feature state-of-the-art IoT wireless communication technologies designed to deliver globally standardised connectivity quality.

Danzel Lee, Senior Director of Wellell, stated that they selected Anritsu's IoT wireless communication testing technologies due to their leadership and exceptional performance in the field of wireless testing. Wellell has successfully performed IoT connectivity tests for its respiratory therapy devices and pressure relief mattresses products using Anritsu's MT8821C Radio Communication Analyzer and MT8862A Wireless Connectivity Tester.

The MT8821C Radio Communication Analyzer supports LTE-Advanced, IoT, and other cellular technologies in compliance with 3GPP RF testing standards. The MT8862A Wireless Connectivity Tester, on the other hand, features RF testing capabilities for IEEE 802.11be 2×2 MIMO devices, supporting the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands with a 320 MHz bandwidth.

Ivan Chen, General Manager of Anritsu Taiwan, expressed optimism about the collaboration between Anritsu and Wellell.
