Alien contact with Earth has been strongly advocated by the ex-leader of Israel's space program.
In an interview with Almaty.tv, as reported by Lenta.ru, Haim Eshed, a professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology's space research institute and a former head of Israel's space security program, has made a series of bold claims about extraterrestrial life.
Eshed asserts that aliens have struck a deal with the U.S. government, and that former President Donald Trump was aware of this, but was prevented from disclosing the truth to avoid mass hysteria. He also believes that Trump is negotiating with aliens through world leaders like Kim Jong-un.
However, it's important to note that there is no credible evidence supporting Eshed's claim of a secret deal between aliens and the U.S. government, or his belief that aliens live among us. Despite his esteemed background, Eshed's assertions have not been substantiated by any public verifiable evidence.
Eshed, who is an 81-year-old professor and also headed the ministry of defense's space directorate for 30 years, holds a scientific degree. He claims that aliens have taken measures to prevent Trump from discovering their secrets and that they believe humanity is not ready. He also states that UFOs have asked not to publish information about their presence on Earth.
These claims echo the wider context from UFO conspiracy theory research, where many governmental alien-related claims tend to be widely disputed, lack verifiable proof, or have been exposed as misinformation or hoaxes. For instance, other claims of secret government programs involving aliens often stem from anecdotal or secondhand testimonies without documentation and are regarded skeptically by most of the scientific and defense communities.
Official U.S. government communications about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) have focused on transparency about unexplained encounters rather than confirming alien contact.
In summary, while Haim Eshed has publicly spoken about alleged secret agreements with aliens, trustworthy evidence to support his claims is lacking, and mainstream experts treat the claims as unproven or speculative. This reflects the general pattern found in UFO and alien conspiracy theories where dramatic claims often lack independent verification or reliable documentation.
